Yes, paintballing is very safe. Our staff are highly experienced and are very familiar with all the risks. They know what to focus on and your safety is their priority. We provide the highest standard safety and battle equipment.
Preferably at least a week or two prior to your preferred day. We are a very popular paintball venue and often book up very quickly. Of course there is no problem booking much closer to – or even on the day. We will do our best to accommodate you. Walk ins are at 12pm on Sundays, no booking is required for these.

Yes you do need to be present at all times whilst your child is at Lock N Load. Any child under the age of 18 must have an adult responsible for them at all times. Parents/Caregivers can watch the games or they can relax by the BBQ tables, but they cannot leave their children on site by themselves.
You will need to arrive 20 minutes prior to your allocated time. You sign in and are then required to fill in the necessary forms. You are then given a safety instruction session and outfitted with all your equipment. Your field referee will then escort you to your field and explain the game you will be playing – including all the rules. Then it is GAME ON.
Loose and comfortable clothes covering as much skin up as possible, those paintball’s are more uncomfortable when hitting exposed skin. If you are going to wear our overalls and the weather looks fine then please remember that with all the running around you may get very hot – so wear appropriate clothing! Sports shoes are best. You may also choose to bring some light gloves – or purchase/hire them from the shop.
You will NOT be allowed on the field in jandals, sandals or bare feet.
Typically we require a minimum of 8 participants (2 teams of 4) for a private game. There is no minimum amount of players for a scheduled open walk on game (Sundays 12pm)
We are open every Sunday for the walk on games at 12pm. Every other day we are open for group bookings only (8+ people), please enquire if you are unsure.
Our first games kick off at 9am. You will be advised what time to arrive when you make your booking. The games can be played on through dusk during daylight savings which allows some groups to play up to 8pm or until it gets dark.
Please leave all unneccesary valuables at home, or locked in your car, while we do look after smaller items behind our desk, we accept no responsibility for anything that is lost.
Games proceed unless the rain is very heavy. Please bring a jacket or raincoat if the weather looks less than ideal. A spare change of clothes for afterwards is highly recommended.
We are happy to provide posters and flyers to help you excite your fellow participants. Birthday party invites can be downloaded from our website.
